I’ve been lurking the streets of paulista blvd, in sao paulo, brazil for about 6 days now. i feel like part of the city… i breathe it’s air*, and feel up-beat to the fast pace of this place. I feel brazil is really the flip-side to north america… hardly any english, the food is way different and even the vegetation is way different. it’s humid, but it rains, and the people are in super pursuit mode regardless form of transportation. despite all that everyone i have been able to talk to or not, have been uber kind.
We’ve been practicing all day, everyday at a couple studios, and the last two day’s have been presented both online through trama studios. at first i though ” trama? like the (toxic avenger) studios?” but i have yet to confirm… would be fucking rad if that were true. i feel like the week had been twice as long… we’ve rehearsed for the new record, learning all the new tunes plus prepared for lollapalooza in chile.
i’ve played one show with the band and I already feel like a brother to these peeps… they’re the nicest people i could’ve ever been asked to join a band with. and i can’t express how excited i am to be included on presenting the new record to everyone.
I miss eveyone, and can’t wait to see you in about a week or so… love you all!!!!
* in sao paulo everyone owns a car.
